Omics core

Overall aim

The Omics Core uses high-throughput assessments of biological molecules to understand the physiology and origins of diseases. This spans genomics, epigenomics, and transcriptomics, but we are also exploring new possibilities with the metabolome, proteome and microbiome.

  • Genomics, i.e. genome-wide arrays, exome sequencing, whole-genome sequencing
  • Epigenomics, methylation arrays, sequencing
  • Transcriptomics, i.e. arrays, RNA-sequencing
